Introduction

Who are we?

We are widely recognized on the European markets as producers of high quality industrial valves. Our production programme includes industrial valves used in drinking and industrial water systems, for various companies in the food, petrochemical, and shipbuilding industries, and in fire safety systems. The quality of our valves is the result of more than thirty years of tradition, experience, and constant development.

Several years ago, we were awarded the ISO 9001:2000 quality certification and the 97/23-EU certification according to the EU Pressure Equipment Directive (CE mark). Along with these, we are also certified to produce materials for our products that comply with hygienic suitability standards. We have also obtained several special certificates for individual groups of products.

All of our products are made in the EU (Slovenia) and each and every one of them is tested according to established regulations.

Company growth

IMP Armature has been growing steadily since 2002, both in terms of sales volume and turnover. We record a 10-17 % annual increase in sales, and our volume growth is even more encouraging. We have thoroughly studied market demands and, together with our customers, developed several new products. We have also expanded our sales network to new markets in the EU and other international markets.

Our vision is to constantly grow in all elements of our business.

Trade fairs

We are always present as exhibitors at the following trade fairs:

• The biennial IFAT trade fair in Munich, the world's leading trade fair in the fields of water, sewage, waste, and raw materials management.
• Valve World in Düsseldorf (previously held in Maastricht), the biennial trade fair for valve technology.
• Komunaliada, the annual meeting of Slovenian municipal companies, usually held at the beginning of June.

Occasionally, we also attend trade fairs in the nations of the former Yugoslavia. These include:

• SEEBBE - South East Europe Belgrade Building Expo.
• International trade fair of technique and technical achievements in Belgrade.
• Tehnoma Skopje Macedonia.

1975	Beginning of industrial valves production
1978	First company "Hladnovodne armature" is founded within the IMP group: IMP Livar
1981	New business premises are built and the export of valves to western European markets begins
1982	Design centre is established within the company and the name of the company changes to "Tovarna armatur"
1991	Beginning of the company’s independent operations
1994	ISO 9001:2000 quality certificate obtained
1996	Ownership transformation – the company becomes privately owned
1998	Start of production of rubber semi-finished products
2003	Introduction of powder coating, module H certification (CE mark) obtained in accordance with the European Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC
2006	Company name changes to IMP Armature d.o.o.
