At IMP Armature we produce underground and above ground hydrants of various sizes. If the upper part of a break-away hydrant is broken, outflow is automatically prevented.

Why choose our hydrants?

• Our hydrants are produced in accordance with the Construction Products Directive (CPD) 89/106 EEC.
• Once the hydrants are installed, the hydrant heads can easily be rotated.
• It is not necessary to dig out the hydrants when servicing them or replacing broken parts.
• Our hydrants are lightweight, which allows for fast and simple installation.

Hydrants can be used in case of fires and to temporarily connect pipelines.

The rubber parts and powder coating used in our hydrants comply with food safety standards. For proof of this, please see our several certificates from accredited institutions. In 2011 we received the DVGW certificate for under und above ground hydrants with additional shut off system.

TOTAL NEW PRODUCT at IMP is the "Through Bore Hydrant" which is completely straight-through bore. It is suitable for pipe cleaning, drainage of pipeline by means of suction lance, observation of piping system possible via lock (for probed, cameras, microphones...). We have constructed two types of Through Bore Underground Hydrant. The length of installation of the first type is fixed, whereas the second type allows telescopic adjustment of the installation depth from 0.5 to 4 m.
